a timeline problem

i'm working on a scene, don't use the sequencer  just the broswer.

and stil the timeline passes from the first frame to the next one.

1.  You may have activated the sequencer by mistake.  Make sure the timline is on zero.

2.  Go to render room.  Select the output tab at the top, and look at the file format.  There are two choices, "current frame" and "movie".  Make sure that "current frame" is selected.

Assuming you are using Carrara 8.5 my guess is that you inadvertently have hit the . key (dot/decimal point/ period key) That is the keyboard shortcut for 'next frame'

It's also active when you are using the browser. The shortcut for 'previous frame' is the , key (comma key) and the / key for 'play'
