Ancient Mystical Forest - preview is black

Has any enountered this and, if so, found a fix?
The Ancient Mystical Forest product shows in the main viewport window as completely black, as if there's no lights. Makes it impossible to set up a scene.
Headlamp, adding lights, none of it has any effect until rendered. It renders beautifully as intended. But I can't see the scene to place anything in it before rendering.

Anyone else had this issue?

I think I used texture shaded to see.
