Riversoft G3 to G8 Character Converter taking too long

Ok so I have the Riversoft G3 to G8 Character converter. The first few times I used it, it worked great, and each character I converted took maybe five minutes. For some reason now however, everytime I try and convert a charcter, it seems to take an insanely long time. Just for an example yesterday I tried to convert a G3F to G8F, and I had to stop it after nine hours! Now today after restarting my PC and even updating to the latest and greatest DAZ Studio, I'm three hours into a convertion. Any thoughts as to why this might be happening?
