DazCentral failing to start

On attempting to start the program (on Windows 10, 64 bit), I get the same error every time: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."

I have tried a number of things to try and fix this, including uninstalling and reinstalling, running the installer as administrator, starting DazCentral as administrator, and messing around with file permissions. I'm not sure what else to try. Any ideas on how to fix this would be welcome, because I'm just about out of them.

As I recall, that code is often related to drivers - which version of the graphics card/chip driver are you using, and what is the hardware?

Trying to run as administrator may well have added new problems.
