Toning down preview strengh

Other than me wearing sunglasses is there any way to lower the overall light reflection in the preview? G8F is really bright here and makes it hard for me to work with.

Do you mean to be using Filament?
No. At least not that I know of
That definitely looks like a Filament preview, so switch to a different viewport draw style.
There will also be a Filament Options node which you can select and adjust to tame the brightness.
