3060 as 2nd GPU?

Today I was thinking and it occurred to me that maybe I could add to my 3080 TI (12 gb), a 3060 12 Gb and use dual gpu.

Would that be silly?
(buying another 3080 Ti is out of the question at the moment, the prices are too high, considering that in a few months the new RTX 40xx will also be released)

What performance boost would I have?

    OP has a good question: Does DAZ3D benefit from 2 seperate GPU card at all?

    Yes, each will be used and their results will be combined so they will reduce the time taken tor ender - two identical cards won't halve the time taken, but in the past it has been close when tested. Each is working separately so if one drops out due to running out of memory the other can keep going.
