Daz why is the finish on the site of this expensive figure uneven ?

same issue happens on the male version when you change surface colour of the face
this doesn't show with default look, but changing face surface shows like this which is not good
If I compare it to the promos it looks like there is a missing cutout oppacity map.
Is this out of the box or have you done anything?
all i have done out of the box is change face surface to a different colour etc
And how did you change the surface?
I looked in the file list.
If you go to the surface panel for the head, and find cutout appacity, is there then a map in it.
If not I would suggest to browse to the texture folder and add 'HeadOP'
hi felis, just by changing the base colour value on the surface area to a different colour that's all, attached an example
cutout ocupancy at 50% fades the whole face
it seems if you change colour on basic RGB scale it's ok
but if you try to change to paint, or plastic or anything else but a basic colour it does this for some reason

You shall not lower the overall cutout oppacity.
But is there a map in it?
And if you load one out of the box, does it look the same?
Good idea. Viewport have issues showing cutout oppacity properly.
There is an oppacity map for the face and one for the head are you using those
Also make sure you are using a G8.1 uv based skin the oppacity maps will not work right on regular G8
