Cannot rotate figure's base frame
Something has happened to one of my figures so that I can no longer rotate it around its principal (base frame) x-, y-, or z-axes. It is not locked -- none of its joints or nodes are locked. I can translate it along the principal axes. But trying to rotate it does nothing. I can move the sliders but the numbers remain at zero. If I use the universal or rotation tool, the direction indicator moves as I move one of the circles. But it snaps right back. I can use the hip joint to rotate the figure, so I have a workaround. But I cannot fathom what has caused the base frame rotation to freeze.
It is an older genesis 8 female figure (P3Design's Azra). I believe it has nothing to do with the stock character. It's a terrific design by P3D. One of my favorites. I have posed it and positioned it many times without problems. This has got to be something I did without realizing it. It is, however, a problem I have never before encountered in my 20 years of using daz studio. (Sheesh. 20 years!)
Any ideas about what might be causing this?

What happens if you load a new instance of the character into the scene, or even the base Genesis 8 Female and apply the shaping and material presets for the character?
I can always count on you, Richard, to either answer a question correctly or to prvide a work-around. Reloading the character then applying the shape, materials, wearables, and pose presets I saved prior to removing the broken character worked. Thank you!
I still wonder what went wrong with the prior one. Who knows?
