Creating a Sliding Helicopter Door

Hello. I'm creating a Helicopter with a sliding door. but I'm having difficulty in getting it to open correctly. Because it is on a curved surface and the door is supposed to follow a track line on top, it is supposed to curve to follow the side of the helicopter slightly—any ideas on how to make the Door work properly. I would be greatly appreciated any help in this matter. Thank you.

Screen 1 shows the door closed. screen 2 shows the problem when the door is halfway open, the body of the aircraft intersects with the door, screen 3 shows the door fully open.

Erc keyed is the key :) I'd do this like this: create an empty property dial. Move the door to 100% open. Erc freeze. Then show in property pane and change scalars to erc keyed and tweak the door xyz and rotations in it for 25, 50, 75 and 100% open (0,25, 0.5. 0.75 and 1.0) or just 0, 50 and 100% if the door works nicely with them and do not intersect with the hull. It's a bit of a pita to do, but easier than what I needed to do with my piano: 88 erc-keyed key-hammer combinations XD.

    You are welcone!

I have a product waiting for release that has foot pedals in a slot that go a s shaped path with a single dial, kinda like a shift stick in a car, very much like yours. If you need more detailed instructions just send a private message :)
