Putting Gen 3 Figure into A Pose - Forbidden?

I tried saving the Gen 8 A Pose as a pose preset and applying it to a Gen 3 figure.

It doesn't happen. Is that particular pose forbidden to Generation 3 figures for some reason?

The A pose will not apply to a Gen 3 figure.

The T pose will not apply to a Gen 8 figure.

You can save them as pose presets and they just won't happen.

Other poses saved as pose presets happen but these will not.

The problem is not that the poses don't work, but HOW they work. Pose presets don't record the actual positions of the limbs, but rather the rotations of the joints. G3's T pose and G8's A pose both reflect no joint rotation, so saving either as a pose and applying it to the other won't do anything..

And I found a useless solution too. Superimpose one on the other and pose it and save the pose reset and it still exports in its original pose.
