Digivault's Dropship and Cruiser (the Dropship has a VTOL arrangement, but the engines don't swivel):

Rane has started out with some large ships:

Nightshift has some decent VTOL craft (some of the older ones have basic textures if you're looking to pose them against HD assets and characters, but they're perfectly functional and have moving parts):

Petipet has some fantastic military ground vehicles, but they all come with an irremovable golden eagle emblem, sadly, which means you can't just use shaders to give them different colour schemes to make them look like they're from opposing factions:

Kibarreto has some amazing stuff:

I have this one, its plenty big:

There is a partial render on my YouTube channel home page:

Thanks so much for Your answer
i bought all the DAZ Store big spaceships for DAZ, but i would need something extremly big.
On DAZ Store, there are some very great large spaceships BUT for BRYCE or Carrara ONLY !!! That is cruel !!!

Ah, yes, i love ALL Keith Hazelet spaceships, he made me many PNG transparent files of some of his spaceships.
i avoid to buy outside DAZ Store, especially because of the manual installation, after it does not work cool all the time, and for the light i have no preload setting, i hate that !!
that why i prefer buy at Store Store.
T Turbosquid Store, they have spectacular big ships too, but the prices, wow, i would need to attack a bank !! lol !
Have both a great week
ced
I feel the same. I generally only purchase from Daz because of the auto-installer and would love for some really large ships to show up in the store, some time.
Turbosquid is too expensive for its own good. :)
Yeah, I had the space cruiser construction kit on my wishlist, went to glance at it after seeing this thread... Bryce? Dang it.
Just noticed I have some Carrara stuff on my wishlist... thankfully I actually HAVE Carrara. Hrmph.
This ship is nice, though not quite as big as you suggest: http://www.daz3d.com/uef-arachnid-class-destroyer-escort
With some creativity, some of the sci-fi themed city kits might work as a giant rambling ship:

Maybe;

Edit: Although seeing how cheap Bryce is, I might end up buying it simply to access Bryce-specific models.
Yeah, the information on that 'construction kit' series is contradictory. I didn't want to take a chance with that much money.
Stonemason has two excellent modular sets for science-fiction interiors, so that you can make your own corridors and rooms.
Be careful with Bryce if you don't want to go about manually installing stuff. The auto-installer apparently doesn't work well with it.
I've never used the auto installer, just create a Runtime for each product and add it to Carrara's browser when needed. I don't recall any problem with the big spaceship from Renderosity. But I have bought more from DAZ than anywhere else, good Poser format source - although the Gen4 stuff seems to be dwindling.
Agreed on Turbosquid, I am definitely not in their target market.
I'm not sure if you are talking about the one from Simon or not. but I had seen that discrepancy as well and emailed him about it. Thought it would have been fixed by now lol.
My PM:
So I was looking for some nice large space cruisers and I happen across your starship builders for Bryce. On the promo pic it does say “for Bryce” but in the compatibility list it has Daz.
Since I don’t have Bryce, would I be able to pick these up and use them in Daz, or was the compatibility list a typo?
His Reply:
That is a typo, thaks for spotting it. Sorry its not for DAZ. But the good news is that there I redone this set and more at Renderosity. Check out the Space Ship constructor, I’m Simon-3D over there.
Largest spaceship model I've seen with an actual interior is this one...

But I bought it 12 years ago at huge discount. Price is a little steep here.

wow ! that's a cool idea, thanks, i should try once... thanks
ced
I would love to have Bryce but i have win 8.1 and it does not run on it, aaaarrghhh !!!
ced
Bryce runs for me on Win 8.1, what's it doing when you try to use it?
huh...
in fact i did not try yet cos so many people told me until now it does not !!
so You are announcing me a good news !!
YOUPY !!!
ced
Yeah, it functions on my Windows 8 system.
Now if only I could make a Renderosity account. Heh (It fails when I try)
Kind of weird he doesn't put it on the Daz store... why is that? Daz' cut?
Only he knows but I think Daz is a little more picky when it comes to quality of models and I know that they will adjust the price of the model as well if they feel it is too cheap or too expensive.
There is also quality and approval of the promo images as well.
Just some of the things I remember reading on a guide to becoming a seller with Daz.
A few years ago, I posted a free Battlecruiser at ShareCG. It's in .obj format, and you'll probably want to re-texture it yourself. And it's not a very sophisticated model, but at least the price is right.
Pretty impressive. It took me a minute to realize what the "Scale" image was showing - big indeed. The one closeup of the interior looks a little simple, but I'm sure some detailed props added would help. I put it on my wishlist, maybe it'll go on sale ...
