Hair doesn't show in Iray View

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hello Everyone,

New to Daz 3D. When creating model and adding hair, the hair vanishes if I switch to Iray view or PBR. I can see the hair in all the other view settings.

If I actually render the image, the hair shows up. I have no idea why and I am assuming it has something to do with settings somewhere, but I can't seem to find them. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

    Sounds like you're using dForce hair, which is generally set not to show up in Iray preview because of how resource-intensive it is. You can make it show by selecting the hair itself (not the haircap), going into the General section of the Parameters pane, and increase Viewport Line Tesselation to at least 1. You can also set Preview PR Hairs to On.
