morphing fantasy robe for male characters

I know Opal 42987 has requested a MFD based on the Genesis one for G2 males, and I'd like to suggest going a stage further, with unimesh fits and versions for M4, Apollo Maximus and other Poser characters. Anyone else out there who'd like to see this?

I think if we are extremely lucky we'll get some sort of fantasy wizard robe for the Genesis 2 males. But as for M4, ApolloMax or indeed any Poser character, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to see anything new around here. Much as I would love to be proven wrong I'm afraid those good times really are over for good. :-(

At least at Daz. Rendo and RDNA still support M4 and other Poser males. I haven't seen much for ApolloMax and nothing new in ages, which is why I don't use him. But I think RDNA still has a few items in their Deep Freeze (or whatever it's called) sale, so you might try looking there.

Er ... you mean like this one?

    Or perhaps this one here?

I think there's also a free and well-detailed wizard robe as dynamic cloth, though now I'm wondering if I bought it.

But it covers a decent range.

Sorry I violated the TOS. Can't find it to find out what I did wrong, but whatever it is, sorry.

There are wizard robes, but they don't look to be as versatile as the MFD; they come as they are without add-on/take off sleeves, collars, hoods, extra spiky bits or whatever.

I've been planning on combining Moroccan dreams for M4 and Evilson to hope to get some tweaks. I don't really want to re-create Gandalf. Or Dumbledore for that matter.

There is a link to the TOS at the top of every forum in the announcement section

Thank you! silly me, I tried to use the search engine, never a good way to find anything :D
I should not have assumed that if it asked me if I wanted to run a poll that this was in anywise actually permitted, as it would not have occurred to me had not the option been offered. It didn't sink in when I read the TOS the first time....

You can always do Transfer Utility (or Cross Figure, if you have that) to get MFD to G2M and then use the older male textures, which still work just fine. (Though some have been retired.)

Kind of surprised we haven't seen a Genesis2 Pharaohs of the Sun set, which was done for both male and female, and has most of the same versatility. Maybe it's planned for later. (And, again, it's possible to upconvert with Transfer Utility from the Genesis versions if you have the clones.)

You can use evilinoccence crossdresser to make an M4 version of the V4 version if you by an M4 license.
Or you can make a M4 morph for V4 (both meshes have the same vertex count) in both DAZ and Poser.
in DAZ you can load the UV's too as an import under surfaces, Poser it is more complicated but doable, it involves I bieve saving a new cr2 with another name and the new geometry with new UV referenced by the cr2, I have not tried it.

I've been playing with the V4 male morph and toying with the idea of getting Evilinnocence's cross dresser products. I'm still coming to grips with how much more powerful poserpro14 is than my old Poser6 so there's a lot of learning on the job going on at the moment in household Biggles [we are a duality, husband and wife]
I haven't heard of Transfer Utility, or cross figure, now I have more ideas to play with! Wendy, I don't think I'm clever enough to save new cr2 files, I hear the word technology and reach for my valium... love/hate relationship! I've shoved V3 and V4 into each other's clothes before now, but the G2 figures are new for me, quite exciting [especially if I can figure out if there are such things as whole face shape morphs as with vicky like long, heart-shaped etc and if so, where they are hidden... ]. Having a DSON opens new horizons. Exciting, isn't it?

I am sure they'll bring out POTS for G2, they have been doing other historicals like Sensibility. In which case with luck Chohole's textures might work on them too.

I surely am learning a lot from you guys, thank you.
