See, I didn't know you used a game session to determine what happens next,  but that helps explain the twists and turns. Absolutely not knowing what will happen next,  makes  the directions of the story involving and interesting.  Keep em coming.

Ya I love that aspect of it.  and I have played Baldurs Gate so I recognize many of the references which honestly just made me grin the first time I saw them.  Have fun gaming and can't wait to find out what happens next!

Nice to see you are enjoying it! The game we play is D&D 5e with a mix of 4 different campaigns from different settings, masterfully weaved together by the DM, and placed in the Forgotten Realms world. As you saw, Celthor joined while Garnek left, because the player who played Garnek moved for a year or two to the US. Much of the dialog is actual dialog from when we play, and I can promise you we have fun as it's a really fun group. And FirstBastion, nice to see you still following this, you can probably spot an item here and there, I really kitbash both clothes and sets all the time, as I know what I wanna show, and sometimes it's really hard to get the scenes as I want them. But I know a certain "Medfival Promenade" that will get some use as we're about to attack the Brinewall Castle.

The group decided to rest the night in the peaceful cemetery guarded by Spivey and enter the castle in the morning. In the morning, Ater, who was now back as his usual self, had a plan. He decided to use his wand of spider climb, but as he needs to concentrate, only one person at a time could climb. Merisiel was first to go, she is silent and deadly. She scaled the steep castle wall with ease, and when she came to the top, she saw something on the wall, and the eyes met, she was spotted. She stroke with her dagger before the monster could react fast enough. The monster, a bird like man, tried to block the strike with his claws, resulting in two clawed fingers fell down to the surprised friends down below, and Merisiel was in. She made the sound, Ka-kah, to signal Ater to drop the spell and send the next one up. Second up was Celthor, then Ameiko, Ulfnaar and last Ater, they were all up on the castle wall.

The group started to scout the upper walls and saw a very rundown building on top of the wall, it looked a little like a conservatory, and half of it was covered with a huge sheet of tarp.

Merisiel sneaked to the door and looked in, and she came out, pale in her face, dashed away ahead of everyone along the wall, desperately attacking two birdmen that came in her way. She said that inside the old conservatory, from the ceiling, hung a huge ba-ba-ba-bat, and we all know that Merisiel fears only one thing in this world, bats.

Celthor heard noises from the courtyard below, and when he looked down, he saw two giant, men like but very deformed persons, looking and behaving like children. On of them tossed a large rock in the back of the other and they both laughed. This was a weird place, very weird place.

After Merisiel failed to pick a few locks, the group decided to go back to the trapdoor where they climbed up, and try to get inside the castle that way. Merisiel was not very happy to have to pass that horrible monstrosity of a bat, but she did.

They opened the trapdoor and climbed down and passed a door into the tower. The time had stood still here, very still. Ulfnaar looked around and saw barrels with arrows, some had tipped over like someone had grabbed the arrows and bows in haste. The arrows were old and rusty, and the bows were not not in good shape either.
They sneaked around with Celthor and Merisiel scouting first, and they opened a door to small and narrow corridor, just five feet deep, and there was another door. Merisiel listened on the door, and the others could see that she indeed heard something. She looked very confused. After a while she told Celthor to listen, and then Ater. They whispered to each other, this was insane. What they heard sounded like a rehearsal of a play. They heard a squeaky voice yelling: -“No! Take your positions for scene five. Now, start. NO!! NO!! You there, you should stand a little more to the left.

The whole group listens, and it sounds like a play about Ravens that one day woke up in human bodies and no longer could fly. Merisiel decided to carefully open the door and sneak in, and what she saw stunned her. There was a theater stage set in a throne room. A foreign looking man (Asian), with white eyes and a red nose and wild hair was trying to direct a play, and the birdmen were actors. When she passed the information to the rest of the group, they were all stunned by the unlikeliness of what they were experiencing right now.

They decided that Ameiko, who also is foreign (Asian), should walk into the room and be a part of the play, to confuse whoever that is.  When she entered the room, the director shouted and pointed to the birdman to the left, “Line!”, then he sees Ameiko and starts to shout: - “Guests, we got guests, we got spectators, please come in come in, take a seat take a seat. You will now experience this masterpiece, the drama of the lost wing”.

Ameiko asks: -”Who has written this masterpiece drama about the lost wings?”.

The little man with white eyes and a red nose points at himself: -”This masterpiece is written by the great Kokonu himself, now everyone take a seat, the play will soon begin!

Everyone takes a seat, but Celthor stands in the back as he is very uneasy with the situation. And right when it looks like they play will begin, Kokonu points at his newly found audience and screams: - “Get them!”.

Ameiko and Celthor are ready and react directly to the new threat. Ameiko strikes down a birdman with kicks and her staff. Celthor casts his Hunter’s Mark on Kokoku and shoots at him with his bow, Kokonu shouts: -”That’s not in the play”, and disappears in a cloud of smoke. Merisiel kills one birdman, Ulfnaar kills one and damages another, that Ameiko finishes off.

Celthor knows Kokonu is still around, he can feel his presence with his Hunter’s Mark. They rushes towards a huge spiral staircase, Celthor and Ameiko are first, Ater decides to take a shortcut, he runs up another staircase. Celthor spots Kokonu and fires two arrows, that misses, and Kokonu fires three bolts of fire against Celthor. Ater steps into a room with three birdmen cleaning the floor, he tries to bluff them that Kokonu needs them at the stage, but the do not fall for it.

Merisiel and Ulfnaar crosses the hallway and comes into a weird room, filled with stuffed animals, people and a lot of elves. Suddenly a small creature dressed in a dress made out of butterfly wings appears, with a huge needle in her hand. She smiles and her pointy teeth are clearly seen, she giggles: -”Ooh, an Elf an Elf! Buttersnips is happy!”, then she strikes Merisiel with her needle, and before Merisiel can really understand what happened, her muscles stiffens, she’s paralyzed. Ulfnaar tries to strike at Buttersnips but she’s very fast and impossible to hit. Buttersnips runs around Ulfnaar and hit him with her needle, and Ulfnaar starts to stiffen up too, paralyzed. Meanwhile Ameiko leaves the Hallway to help Ater.

Buttersnips rushes past the two statues and into the hallway. Celthor sees her, and acts fast, he casts a spell that fills the hallway with sharp and pointy thorns, and he successfully catches Buttersnips, who is so enraged that she misses the thorns and gets herself impaled on one.

Celthor, Ameiko and Ater finish off the last birdmen, then they realizes that Ulfnaar and Merisiel is missing. They know what way Ulfnaar and Merisiel went, through the same door that Buttersnips came from. They rushes there, and found a room filled of stuffed animals, humans and many elves. A very creepy room. Ulfnaar and Merisiel were just standing there, the backs facing the approaching friends, but they didn’t react when called. Ameiko looks at them and asks Ater: -”What’s wrong with them?”  Ater replied: - “Where should I start? Ulfnaar seems to have a problem with his past, can it be his father, and Merisiel, she.. ah, you meant this?” And he poked Ulfnaar in the cheek with no reaction from Ulfnaar.

Celthor is scouting and suddenly he seems dense fog coming down from the floor above, across the stair case. At that moment Merisiel starts to move, and soon after Ulfnaar comes alive too. Ater says: -”They were paralyzed, probably poison, nothing to worry about.

Celthor tells the others about the fog. Ater casts a spell that makes Ameiko invisible and she parcours up to scout.  She comes back to tell the group what she’s seen, and she startles Ulfnaar and Ater who weren’t ready for Ameiko to speak out from thin air, she was still invisible. Ameiko heads off again up the stairs with Merisiel on her tail, or so she thinks. She looks back and waves to Merisiel to follow, but she can’t see Ameiko, who for the second time forgets that she’s invisible. They all follow shortly behind. Suddenly the dense fog fades away, and Ameiko sees a woman in a small shrine, chanting. She has white eyes and when Ameiko enters she shouts: - “Tiamat will not enter this world you dragon worshippers!”.

The room becomes black, not just dark, but pitch deep under the mountain where the sun never shines black. Even the lights from the candles and braziers dies. Ulfnaar shouts from behind when he sees the darkness engulfing his comrades: - “What’s happening?”. Ater replies: - “It’s magic!”, and Ulfnaar replies: - “Is that black magic?”. Ameiko shouts: - “She’s getting away”. Ulfnaar thinks he sees something and he and Celthor rushes into a side hallway leading away from the main hallway.

Ater shouts: - “Stand back!” and he casts a powerful magic spell, dispel magic. Now they see four identical copies of Nevikhali the witch, trying to open the big door leading out of the room. Ulfnaar and Celthor realizes they were chasing shadow and returns, while Merisiel throws a dagger that just flies through the door Nevikhali just opened that led out to the battlement.

Nevikhali calls us Dragon cultists once again, then she disappears. Celthor follows her tracks to the edge of the battlement, but she is nowhere to be seen. Celthor looks around, and something far out at sea catches his eyes. Five long boats with black sails, and over them something that looks very much like a dragon. He estimates that they are about two hours from land.

He tells the others, and Ulfnaar’s face becomes pale, he says: - “The black raiders, the most fearsome clan of northmen in the whole sea. The leader has a pet black dragon, they are not a group you fight unless you really have too. I’ve met a few in brawls, they are fearless fighters."

The group searches the shrine, and finds a small priest chamber with a few scrolls in it. This had once been a shrine dedicated to Selûne, but the statue was all damaged and covered with blood and unholy words. Ameiko made notes to come back and clean this place up once we were done with the caravan and Dragon cultists.

They continue to search the hallway where Ulfnaar and Celthor ran before, and they find lots of rooms with beds in, old beds, but on each bed is a strange formation of branches, birds nests.

Suddenly they hear the sound of a large door slamming downstairs, probably the weird kids coming in. Ulfnaar, Celthor and Ater runs downstairs while Ameiko and Merisiel accidently opens a door to an inhabited room, full of birdmen.

Ameiko and Merisiel fights and kills the birdmen, while Ulfnaar and Celthor fights with the two half ogre boys, and their sister who wears armor, and wields a flail in the dining room, with a made table and food that doesn’t look that good. Ater shouts - “I told you, never split the party, and here we go again!”.

The group continue the search for Kokoku and the treasure Ameiko’s ancestors hinted about. Suddenly Celthor heard the voice of a child from one small room he looked into. He walked in, and the room was full of debris, and suddenly the door shut it self, and the room went rather dark. Something whispered: -”Come and play with me” and tries to kill Cethor. Ulfnaar starts to look for Celthor, and Celthor successfully opens the door and shouts for help before it slams shut again. Ulfnaar opens the door and helps Celthor against the weird ghost. Meanwhile Ater sneaks up a staircase as he spotted some remains of books. He sees what has been a library, and he ses a figure in the tower room above. Ameiko shouts from downstairs: “Do you need help Ater?” but Ater gives her the sign of silence and moves into the room. The figure greets him with open hands, showing peace. She introduces herself as Zaubi, and she communicates through telepathy to Ater. While they communicate Ameiko keeps asking more and more anxious: - “Are you ok up there Ater?”.

Zaubi tells Ater that she wants Kokonu dead. They were lovers, but one day he stole her voice and left her voiceless. She also warns Ater about Nevikhali’s pet, the huge bat she flies on. She says she can lure Kokonu out, just name a place. Ater summons the others for a quick discussion, and the group decides to use the large battlement square where a catapult is located. OK Zaubi says and flies away.

Just shortly after, Kokonu arrives with an escort of four birdmen. The group decides that Merisiel should be hidden inside the castle building behind the door that leads to the battlement, and attack the enemy from behind. The start signal is Ameiko’s now famous “Ka-Ka”. Ulfnaar places himself beside the door out to the battlement so when the door is opened, he won’t be seen, and he will have full freedom of attacking. The rest place themselves in concealed positions, ready to strike. Kokonu opens the door and when he has entered the battlement, Ulfnaar tries to kick the door shut again while he furiously attacks Kokonu. Cethor fires his bow and misses, and they now clearly sees the fleet on the see, and so does Nevikhali on her bat. She signals and they see lots of birdmen leaving the other towers and seems to run into the main building. Ameiko so wants to jump on to the bat, but it nevers comes close. Ulfnaar kills Kokonu, and Merisiel slashes her way through the birdmen until she reaches the door, sees the huge bat and dashes away in panic.

The battle is won, Kokonu is dead and the group takes a short rest for about 30 minutes to heal and catch breath. Celthor and Ulfnaar estimates the ship will hit shore in about 3 glasses, one and a half hour in our exact time.

They decides to go into the main citadel, to try to find grandfather before it’s too late. They find a round room with a staircase and three doors. When they enter the room, which have beautiful tapestries showing the castle in it’s days of glory, blood starts to drip from the roof, and faces appears on the walls. Everyone is scared except Ulfnaar, he is maybe to stupid to be afraid, who knows. Ulfnaar decides to scout the upper floor while the others are hiding down in stairs leading to the basement. He find a room with a broken door, everything looks untouched. He enters the room, and a huge skeleton in full armor stands in the far end, and when Ulfnaar enters, the skeleton starts to move.

Ulfnaar attacked the wight with both his axe and his sword. Merisiel had overcome her fear of the staircase and followed Ulfnaar and came dashing into the room and stabbed the wight with her rapier. The wight fought back but Ulfnaar killed the undead and sent the soul back to where it belonged.

They went down the staircase two floors to a basement. The tunnel was sealed off by stone pillars, like a grate. There were two holes, one of each side, one showing a sun and one a moon. Ater picked up a disc he had found on the body of Kokonu, it showed a moon, and it fit, but nothing happened. The continued to search, and passed a kitchen and a dining room, both decayed. Celthor saw tracks in the dust and they continued to follow the track by the birdmen. Suddenly Celthor heard someone singing, a sad tune by a beautiful female voice.  He opened the door in the corridor from where the song was coming, and saw a prison, and in a cage stood a woman singing. She wore leather armor and was very beautiful. When he looked at her, he heard a voice from further in. When the Ogre prison guard said “You are not supposed to be here!”, Celthor replied that he had authority to take the prisoner for questioning, and that confused the poor Ogre, enough to not be prepared for the two arrows that hit him from Celthors bow. The Merisiel, as usual came dashing into the room throwing daggers and together they killed the Ogre just when Ulfnaar entered the room. Ulfnaar saw the beautiful woman, she looked like a Northlander, so he put on all his charm and walked to the cage and said: “Hi there gorgeous, do you come here often? My name is Ulfnaar and we’re here to rescue you.

She said that her name was Kelda Oxgutter, and she belonged to a crew that sailed here to warn the people of Brinewall that the Black Raiders were coming, but they were attacked by a huge sea monster and then she was captured by the birdmen.

Merisiel picked the lock and freed Kelda, and she found her sword and shield in a pile in the prison. kelda decided to join the group, at least to escape, and she was a little charmed by that northlander called Ulfnaar.

Glad to hear that you like it!

I got some free time to add a little to the story. Biggest issue is that my notes from the game session is rather scribbly as we did play for two days this last session and we did drink a healthy amount of scotch while playing, but there are so much more coming. The scotch do show up in some of the dialogs which are what was said around the table ;-)

After this little pause, the group continue the search for grandfather and follow the tracks of the fleeing birdmen. The sand is running out in the glasses. Soon, the black raiders will hit the shores and the group really has to be gone by then.

They find a huge door, leading to what looks like burial crypt. The crypt looks plundered, but the group enters this long dark corridor. They see that natural caves and tunnels seems to emerge from the crypt as the crypt stone brick walls has fallen down in several places.

Suddenly, a figure appears in front of the characters, it’s a semi transparent figure but it is the Goddess Selûne. She tells them to leave their weapons at the door before entering the holy chamber of Selûne. Everyone except Kelda does that, Kelda says: - “This is not a Goddess, this is a trap!”, but no one listen to her, everyone is totally believing they are meeting Selûne. Ulfnaar, not being the brightest in the drawer, forgets the Wakazashi on his back and the dagger in his right boot.

Kelda stays to watch the pile of weapons, Merisiel and Ulfnaar takes a long time dropping everything. Now Selûne says in her soft voice: - “Follow me!” and they all follow her down the corridor into a natural cave, where Selûne suddenly disappears and a horrible monster appears. They hear thousands of voices in their heads talking about Pazuzu, the demon Pazuzu.

Ater casts a spell and then runs back to the weapons pile. Ulfnaar realizes that he4 has his Wakizashi and his dagger and attacks the demon, thinking of what Ater said some weeks ago: “No one remember a coward!”. Ulfnaar hits with his dagger, but gets a feeling it just didn’t do any good, but he will try again. He hits twice with his Wakizashi and that did work. Ameiko fires of a flurry of blows and kicks. Celthor arrives with his bow and fires two shots, but both arrows misses. The rest including Kelda comes running, except Merisiel who is busy picking up her daggers. She’s a woman, and she feels naked without them. Ater shouts to Celthor: “Use the Demon killer arrow we found in the priest’s room!”, and Celthor starts looking for the arrow. Meanwhile Ameiko and Ulfnaar keeps battling the beats and Ater keeps firing off his spells. Finally Celthor finds the arrow, he fires, and he hits, and the big demonic monsters screams in agony, it throws a tentacle up over the edge, trying to grab someone back into the abyss, but it misses, and disappears into the void.

They start looking around, and finds a small altar, dedicated to the demon Pazuzu. Beside the altar is a cocoon, opened, might have fit the beast we just killed. On the altar is lots of things, including a second disc, with a moon, lots of gold and some other things. On the altar is a black statue of the demon Pazuzu, and suddenly Ulfnaar decides to smash it with his hammer, and when he does, the statue explodes and everyone is tossed around like leaves in the wind.

When everyone is checked and ok from the little accident caused by Ulfnaar, the group rushed back to the bars with the disc keys where they now suspect is grandfather’s hiding place.  Ameiko places the disc in position, and the bars slowly sinks down into the dusty ground.

Ameiko steps in, and suddenly a strong wind makes the dust on the floor spin in a vortex, and the vortex of dust forms into a Wraith. He stands in a defensive position, and a frosty cold is spreading in the room. Ameiko says: - “Grandfather? Jujus Kajitsu?”.

The Wraith starts to cry and tears are rolling down his cheeks. He speaks: - “Rokonu? Why? No? You? You are my grandchild. Take the seal, take if from this place. I’m not worthy to guard it.” Then the Wraith turns into dust and the dust falls down to the ground, and the cold slowly leaves the room.

Ameiko checks the wall and finds a small secret door that leads into a hand cut small cave. Inside the cave are three chests. Ameiko puts her hand on one of the chests and it opens by her gentle touch. It contains a lacquered wooden box, exquisite craftsmanship, from Ameiko’s homeland, Kara-Tur. Ameiko moves away from the chests and opens the small wooden box and picks up a Jade statuette.

Suddenly they all see how Ameiko faints and a spirit seems to leave her body and disappears into the statuette.

Suddenly the others also felt dizzy, and their heads started to spin. They all fell asleep and they had visions, they all had the exact same visions…

First, the saw an army of horrible demon like soldiers, marching across an unknown land. They had sharp teeth and they were surrounded by fire. They could see that the people they killed all looked like Ameiko, from Kara-Tur, and the landscape was very different from the Sword Coast.  They saw how the whole land, villages, towns and Cities were torched and people was slaughtered by the army of demons.

The vision changed, and now they all saw a man i regal outfit, also Kara-Turien standing beside another man in front of a well. Suddenly the other man starts to grow until he is three times his size, and he grows a jade armor, draws a sword and kills the man wearing the regal outfit, who falls into the well.

The vision changes again, and now the saw a young Kara-Turien man with a sword, the quickly it changes and that man sells the sword to a Northlander and gets a big sack of gold.

The vision blurs again and now they all saw, including Ameiko herself, Ameiko wearing different clothes in a very different decorated room, she wears the wardrobe of an empress. The room disappears and is now replaced by a palace in Jade, with a throne in Jade, and Ameiko sits on the Jade throne. The visions blur and they all wake up.

They are all on different states of chock. They suddenly all knew a lot of Kara-Turien history that they didn’t know before, and they also understand what they saw in the visions, at least some of it.

Ameiko stood up and began to talk, and Ulfnaar kneeled to her as you kneel to an empress.

    - “The man who gave the sword away was my grandfather, the country you saw is Shou Lung. Ulfnaar stand up! The real name for the Kajitsu family, to my family, is Amatatsu, one of the five Royal families of Shou Lung and the last surviving family. Rokoru Kajitsu’s real name was Rokoku Amatatsu, and the sword was the legendary family sword which hold all the knowledge of the Amatatsu Royal family. Ulfnaar! I said stand up!! I am the last surviving member of the five Royal families. I don’t expect you to treat me as royal, I am still the same woman I was before this burden of knowledge was laid upon my shoulders. Now Ulfnaar listen! Stand Up! Stop Kneeling! I order you to stand up!

    Ulfnaar stands up, at last.

Ameiko continues: - “The box that held the jade statuette or figurine, ís a Warding Box. It prevents the location of it’s content to be detected by any magic. Now, when the figurine is in the open, the five storms can detect it, it must be hidden again”.

Ameiko hastily hides the figurine in the box and closes it. She continues: -”We must hurry from this place, Ulfnaar and Celthor, take one chest each and carry with you. Now run!  Let’s take the secret exit out to the brine we found earlier.

They all ran through the castle tunnels and came out through the secret escape tunnel. The group didn’t see any ships at sea, so they assumed the black riders must have landed. They climbed the steep brine wall up to the forest clad land, and spotted the black dragon circling the castle and saw several men in dark armor climbing the walls.

Quickly the hurried away from the castle trying to circle the way back to the ruined town and the graveyard where they had left the horses, but they saw black riders crawling in the ruins. This ain’t looking good, not good at all Ulfnaar thought, while they tried to move through the woods and away from this place.

Suddenly Celthor heard the sound of horses. They all froze on his raised hand signal. Something was ahead of them? A black raider patrol on horses?

Celthor carefully moved forward, and he suddenly heard a little voice saying:-”What took you so long? I’ve been worried about you.

It was Spivvy, the little fairy from the graveyard. Celthor was shocked and happy at the same time. What do you do here he asked.

Spivvy replied: - “When I saw the dragon and the ships I decided to hide the horses where it was most likely you and not those black evil men would find them. Now hurry, they will find the tracks soon.

Quickly they left Brinewall and Brinewall Castle behind them on the way back to the caravan, and Spivvy, who had lost her magic graveyard and her special powers connected to that place decided to come with them.

The group rides to catch up with the caravan and they do catch it the evening before it reaches Dragonspear. In the evening, Ameiko gather the group around the campfire, holding the box in her lap, but Ater decides to cover it with some burlap. Ameiko tells them that she is in agony over the dream they all had. All she really wanted was a normal adventuring life, how normal that is anyway, but she has no intention to become an empress and be locked into a palace full of deceitful lying people and bodyguards, not being able to trust those around her. Ater has looked through the treasures they found, and the group decided that kelda will get a better shield, the one Ulfnaar took from the Wight. Ulfnaar gets the dragon helmet, which will keep him warm and protect him from frost. A day later they reached Dragonspear.

The caravan stayed in Dragonspear for a day, to change horses, repair damaged wagons and buy supplies. Some people leave the caravan here at Dragonspear. After the one day stop, the caravan continues north, to the next stop, Dragonport.

On the way to Dragonport, some incidents happened but not so much it is worth mentioning. Well in Dragonport, they all decides to go and book room at the Happy Cow, which has both rooms with real beds and a rather large tavern. On the way there, Ater spots a person, a certain old acquaintance from the time before Ulfnaar joined the group, the Necromancer Ashbara Jos. He is sitting and talking to the Dragon Cultists. Ater quickly tells Ulfnaar, Celthor and Kelda to go elsewhere as Mr Jos don’t know them, which can be useful if they are not seen together with the rest of the group. Ulfnaar, Celthor and Kelda walk to the Lucky Lady Tavern for some mead and brawling.

Merisiel, Ameiko and Ater sits at a table, and Ater has his new familiar, a cat walking around the table where the Dragon Cultists are sitting.

Suddenly, a Gnome lady arrives to the table where the group is sitting. She introduces herself as Jamna Gleamsilver, a bard and writer, and says that she is to join the caravan on the journey up to Waterdeep. Merisiel knows about her, she’s a writer of sleaze, Merisiel happens to have two of her books. Jamna picks up a book and a quill and the quick starts to write by itself in the book as she speaks. Jamna starts to ask about what adventures this group has been through, and Merisiel starts to talk about the Phandelver mines.

Suddenly Ater sits and pets his cat, that purrs in his lap. The cat whispers in Ater’s ear that Ashbara Jos had said to the Dragon Cultists that he expects a secure... Meanwhile Jamna talks about her new book, fifty shades of black - evil is not always evil.

The morning after, the Caravan continued north to Waterdeep. Ulfnaar, Celthor and Kelda had severe hangovers the first day, and Ater had told them to stay with themselves so Ashabra Jos would not know that they worked with the rest of the group.

After a long and eventless journey, there were only four more days to Waterdeep, when Jamna Gleamsilver came to the group at breakfast. She took Ater’s porridge and started to poke in it with her dagger, and picked up a small seed. She said: - “We must talk tonight. This is poison, if you had eaten this, it would spread in your body and kill you slowly.“ Jamna nods in the direction of the Dragon Cultists wagons.

In the evening Jamna arrived to the groups campfire and she says: - “We may not be working for the same people, but we’re working for same cause. I must know what’s in those wagons.” The group asks her who she works for, but she refuses to answer. When it’s time to go to bed, Ulfnaar can’t find his sword, but he decides not to cause a fuzz and he is sure that he will find it in the morning.

In the early hours, there are people outside his wagon, and they sound angry. He steps out and there are some dragon cultists together with some of the other caravan guards. A woman from the cultists group point at Ulfnaar shouting: - “There he is, the murderer! He killed one of ours! Look, this is his sword, and she tosses Ulfnaar’s sword to the ground. He killed him. Look, he is dead!

Ulfnaar replies to these grave accusations: -”I would never do such a sloppy job if I was to kill someone, never! A simple sloppy stab in the chest, the one who did this takes no pride in his job.“ Ameiko now enters the scene, she has heard all the shouting and she asks the dragon Cultist woman: -”Was his nose broken? No? Was his balls crushed? No? See, it just can’t be Ulfnaar then.

The discussion continues and Ater and Celthor returns from a little scouting around the wagons belonging to the Cultists and Ater says: -”This is a very good scout, “, pointing at Celthor, “and has found no tracks or traces of an attacker around your wagons. Every single footstep has been accounted for, even the drag marks from the dead body where it leaves the wagon and to here.” After another half hour, the whole caravan declares Ulfnaar not guilty, and the journey to Waterdeep continued.

    Thank you!

I'm really fond of Ulfnaar, he is a big lad with a big heart, a little intellectually stumbling sometimes though ;-)
