Iray Render Settings Max Time not working?

The Iray Render setting Max Time (secs)  does not seem to work anymore.

I set it to a maximum of 60 secs to observe the resulting render quality and found this setting was ignored as the render went for 103 seconds.

This setting used to work with earlier versions of DS, is anyone else hitting this issue and is there a solution?

Wheer are you checking? The final  time elapsed includes set up, but the max Time accounts only for the actual rendering after the set up is complete.

The setup time is higher than I thought, the Max Time setting seems to only change anything at below 50s.

The rest of the render process is comparativly quick.
