Missing content?

Hi everyone,

 

It's my first time using DAZ studio and want to follow the getting started tutorial but it stops at the point where I have to click to open the asset folder. 

When I close the lesson and look for figures i can find one figure i bought but nothing else. I did install loads of free content but see nothing.

I see in tutorials on youtube linked through the DazCentral that they open a figure map with tonnes of examples to work with.

I also do't see  any materials objects or clothes anywhere but maybe I'm misunderstanding the whole idea

Did you isntall the various Starter Essentials products? Those, plus Default Resources, give the basic content.
