Hi all.
so yeah i was thinking about a character going off in the distance and close to camera, we can see his footsteps in the snow from his boots ?
Ive never tried deformers before so i was thinking a BW map of under the boots and then adding this to textures of a snow plane..
would that work ?

I would think a displacement map would be the simplest way.

Making use of any black/white track image, one can make tracks in the snow!
