Dear Group : This may turn out to be a stupid question. I use Daz 3D Studio 4, 7. My question is " How do I load a background image into my sceene in Daz 3d Studio 4.7 Pro ?.

You use the new Environment pane - Window>Panes(Tabs)>Environment. Set the Active Type to backdrop and you will get the options from the old Edit>Load Backdrop dialogue, plus some new ones.
