Characters without IK question

Hi folks,
I have recently started working with Daz and Poser again after many years, so I'm re-learning a lot of things that I may have known back then. My question is about Inverse Kinematics. If a character, let's say a T-Rex, doesn't have IK available in the Figure menu, is there another way to lock feet to the ground so that moving the hips doesn't move the entire body?
Thanks in advance,
Frank

You can create your own IK chain, as I recall, though the Poser 6 manual (which is what I have to hand) isn't entirely clear on whether it is talking about from scratch or modifying an existing figure.
Thanks Richard! I'll take a look at the manual.
This is for Poser 12, but the method hasn't changed for I don't know how many versions.

Make a copy of your figure before starting in case it doesn't work out. :)
