Autofit Problem

So far I have successfully gotten Genesis and Genesis 2 Clothes to work back and forth on one another. I have the V4 shapes for G1 and G2 and the G2 shapes for the G1. Normally the little auto fit box shows up and works just fine. However, I have now tried to expand using the clothes I have for V4 on G1 and G2. I can't get the autofit box to show up. I'm using the content directly from my Poser file. I can't remember if this was the way it was supposed to work or not. I think it used to.

I'm not using the beta or anything just the PRO 4.7. Can you not take clothes made for V4 in poser format and get them to "auto fit" not G1 or G2? Am I missing something? Or is it just maybe a glitch?

For instance, I want to auto fit the White Rose outfit I got from RDNA/Alfaseed onto my G2 character.

Thanks.

If the Autofit box doesn't show up with G2 selected when you load in the clothes try with the clothing selected fitting to in the parameters tab.

AH oK. I forgot about that tab. Thank you. Seems not all clothes will bring the box up.

Automatic Autofit depends on Fit-to also working automatically. Most new(-ish) clothes will fit-to onto the figure properly when you load them into the scene, but many older clothes just load and sit there. You have to fit-to onto the figure manually, which will invoke Autofit, and everything should then work as it's supposed to. It's nothing wrong with Autofit, it's just what happens with clothes designed and made for Poser — DAZ|Studio can convert them, but Autofit won't work automatically if it doesn't fit-to.
