RTX 3080 Card - SetUp??

Hello!

I just got a new machine with an RTX 3080 card 16GB VRAM - I've never had a card like this before is there any seeting that I need to enable or configure or should it be good to use (Iray Renders) with no set up or config?

It may need a driver update - systems tend to be built with a "known good" configuration that doesn't get changed until the next major update, which means that they can be a fair bit behind the times and iray does require fairly recent drivers. Right-click on the desktop>nVidia Control Panel to see what you currently have, then look at the DS release threads to see what is needed.

Go with the studio drivers instead of game-ready drivers for that card. Unless you play a lot of games.

I recall reading posts wherein even some game players will switch over to the studio drivers when rendering in/using Daz Studio, then switch back to the game drivers for gaming.
