Viewport navigation spins out of control

Hey guys I have a second PC that I use for rendering. It's a fairly powerful PC

X570 Aorus Pro; Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core 3793 Mhz; RTX 3090 

Everytime I try navigating the viewport with the corner widgets or with ctr-alt-click the viewport spins completely out of control. 

I've lowered my overall mouse sensitivity to the minimum, but it persists.

Has anyone found a solution for this?
