Daz3d and Photoshop CC 2014
I am on a very steep learning curve, having only been using Daz3d for a week or so, but......
I really am having trouble making Daz3d/Bridge/Photoshop work reliably, if at all!
I have a well spec'd PC with 16Gb of RAM which is heavily used for video editing and rarely has problems. I am using Adobe Photoshop CC2014 and want to import/export image maps between Daz3d and PS. Bridge is the answer and I have successfully transferred image .jpg files between programmes - sometimes!. I do not have the video editor running in the background when working with Daz3d and PS.
Very frequently, I cannot get through the suggested workflow without one or other of the programmes locking up and having to be restarted, thus losing the work, and time, already spent.
Reliability is very important and, so far, I cannot expect any project using PS and Daz3d with Bridge to be completed.
I have looked at a number of Tutorials covering this and I am pretty sure I am doing it correctly.
Are there known issues with this combination?
Very many thanks for any information.

Why use bridge? Why not just alter the jpg map file in PS and then save and go into Daz and select that file in the surfaces window?
Of course that is a solution. Why didn't I think of that? Many thanks for your time. I so had my head up the new software that I probably wasn't thinking straight.
All the best.
I learned this by loading a model, noting the name and location of the map it is using, then open that file up and alter it in Photoshop. I save it as a different name in the same location and then go back into daz and apply it to that model. It's opened up a lot of interesting customizing possibilities.
