This item is a series of PSD (Photoshop) files. You should be able to open them in Elements 10 OK, but the Photoshop Bridge for DS does NOT work with Elements of any version (or Gimp).

It says on the product Page :

Each overlay type contains its own group with source files, as well as presets and easy to follow instructions of how to modify and apply, making 3D model skin editing easy.

Can you not find any instructions?

Really I am still at a loss I loaded skin overlay and all I got was layers on the right side and a picture of the skins, I can`t drag and drop anything.
The instructions don`t really tell me anything, is the a video...?
    Thanks

Have you tried contacting the Vendor?

If you go to the Private Messages link at the top of this forum, and select Compose New Message, you can contact the vendor from there by PM.

Note the name is ZEV0 (zero not Oh)

You might find this easier to use I believe it is similiar to the merchant resource but it is set up to use in DS a one click method to add the various
stuff to the skins you already have for V5 or M5

    http://www.daz3d.com/skin-overlay-for-v5-and-m5-skin-sets

You should be able to request an exchange or a refund on the product from the help desk .

Okay I think I figured out the problem when you open the PSD in GIMP nothing is showing .......next to each of the files is a little square that has an eye or a chain ,open the eye up and the file shows ...I bought it and it took me a few minutes to figure it out myself ,so see if that helps if not then Zev0 is really good about helping.

Can you load the PSD files in Photoshop?
    What problems are you having?

As has already been mentioned, this is a Merchant Resource package for people who want to create and sell their own skin textures. You would really need to know something of how to create textures for DAZ figures to use it properly.

Each overlay type contains its own group with source files, as well as presets and easy to follow instructions of how to modify and apply, making 3D model skin editing easy.

I don't have this item, but have you found the instructions and presets mentioned on the Product Page?

It may take a couple of days to refund you. If you bought it within 30 days of asking for a refund there should be no real holdup.
