HDR and environment maps
Hi all,
If I search for HDR pictures on the interweb, they appear in two types, there are the straight, flat images and the images that are shot using a mirrored ball.
My question is, what do I need to do to correct for the way the spherical images have been shot in Daz?
How can I recreate a concave reflection or primitive to take advantage of the 3d effect I assume it will have. Or is it not possible at all?
I have 4.8 with the NVidia iray renderer and I think there may be an answer there but iray is all mysterious at the moment.
Or... Can I make one by bending a primitive plane or thin cube to make a concave shape? If so... How?
