HM Tenebris Hex hair not rendering

Hello,

I am having trouble with the Tenebris Hair not rendering in either spot render or full render despite having all the display options on and tesselations at 2 and 3. What am I doing wrong? Is the rig interferring? I once accidently managed to render it, but I literally don't get how.
