Rendering with xn rtx30xx card better image quality or not?

Hi,

I am looking for a new system and now I was wondering, the new RTX serie cards that support raytraycing and stuf, can you see this quality back in renderings against an image rendered with an gtx card? Or does it not matter and is the render speed the only bennefit?

    Image quality is the same, provided that the render is allowed to run to the same level of quality, but...

    It's not only about how fast the rendering is done, but also about whether the the GPU has enough VRAM to do the rendering at all, if it doesn't the rendering will drop to CPU and it will take 10-20+ times longer to finish with the same quality.

    Current versions of IRAY are designed for RTX cards, and the GTX cards will take an additional hit as the RTX functions will be emulated in software which reserves some additional VRAM

    Render quality doesn't change only speed.
