Help with weight maps effecting areas with no weights when bending in Daz
Hello, I was unable to find anything relating to my issue, so I apologize if this has already been covered. I'm also not certain if this is the right forum category to post this in.
My issue is that I am rigging a tail for Genesis 2 male (I prefer the older figures, lol) and everything's working fine, except for when I bend the thighs. The odd part is that the tale does not move when the legs bend, which is a good thing, but it does get deformed, like at the very tip of the tale, which is not even anywhere near the thigh. I purposely made the tail a bit away from the body, for making it easier to pose the tail and to make rigging easier. Also, it's a conforming tail, not a geo-graft, as a geo-graft was not necessary for this tail. I've checked all over the other weight maps, to see if the other bones were somehow effecting it when the thigh bends and also checked to see if there were jcms that transferred from G2M, but I found nothing. This isn't the only thing I've had this happen on, it's happened many times with my rigged props I made or dresses, but I've never found anything that helps the issue on here. Does anyone have any idea what's going on and can help solve it? I would greatly appreciate it, oh and it's Triax weight maps as well. Thank you.

GeoGrafting makes no difference to the rigging, so that isn't a factor.
Are you sure he affected area is 100% weighted for the tail bone(s)?
It isn't a geograft, if that's what you're saying? If you're suggesting I make a geograft instead, it doesn't match G2M's geometry, so I would have to completely remake it. (A geograft wasn't necessary for the type of tail it is, but I have made geografts before).
I have made sure it works with the hip and pelvis and it does, that isn't an issue, it moves with every other part (abdomen, pelvis) perfectly, it's only the thighs that causes distortion to the tip of the tail. The base of the tail that is touching his body doesn't distort at all, it's just the very tip. It is very confusing, since I've made sure that the weights look correct, but I must be missing something. And like I mentioned, it's happened numerous times before with other items I have made, I just never found a solution, so this time I decided to ask for help. I considered removing the thigh bones entirely, as there's no need for it to follow the thighs, however I've done that before for other projects and it doesn't stop the distortion, it for some reason still acts as if there's a bone there when bending G2M/F's corresponding body part. So I did not try to remove the bones, as I'm not sure how to remove a bone properly to stop a particular part from reacting to the base figures bending. The distortion sort of looks like crumpled foil and only happens if I bend either thigh of G2M, but not for any other body part, if that helps.
Update: I accidentally found out what was wrong and it had nothing to do with weight maps. I was going to make JCM's instead of dealing with the weight maps, to correct the issues, but when I imported the new morph, it unhid the morphs already in the tail. Which there weren't any morphs at all in the tail beforehand, there wasn't even a "hidden" section in the parameters tab, but I guess adding a morph, unhid the "hidden" section. It's odd that it did that, because I checked and the "Show Hidden Properties" is on, so it should not have been hidden in the first place. Anyway, it was a JCM from that was distorting the figure, which I did suspect at one point, but again, there was no hidden section, so I then thought it had to be a weight map issue. Anyway, I thought I would update and tell anyone reading that I found the solution and I apologize for the confusion.
