Did I need to buy Ultrascatter Advanced?

Did I need to buy Ultrascatter Advanced if I already owned Ultrascatter Pro?

If not, I wish Daz shop had alerted me before I made the purchase yesterday for Ultrascatter Adcvanced when I already owned Ultrascatter Pro.

Just a heads up peeps...

    Ultrascatter Pro is an updated version of "Ultrascatter Advanced" (which I think is supposed to be just called Ultrascatter; with "Advancd Instancing" as its subtitle)

    You know you can return items for a full refund, right?

    He doesn't need the upgrade, he already has Pro

    UltraScatter Pro is the latest and greatest. You don't need the previous "Advanced" version. 
    As Hylas said, return it for a full refund. To do that, submit a help request.

    Oops, sorry, I misread - I thought the OP had just recently bought Pro but already had Advanced.

    This is kinda complicated, I am a huge fan of Uttrascatter and bought Pro a while back when it came out and saw Advanced yesterday and erroneously thought that it might be an add on to Pro so I bought it.

    It was not until afterwards that I realized that it was an intermediary between the regular Ultrascatter and Ultrascatter Pro.

    It is confusing and a note on the product page (maybe I missed it) stating that Advanced was contained in Ultrascatter Pro would have been helpful.

    I got it on a big sale so I am not sure if going through the return process is worth my time.

    Daz is so good to us and they give us lots of stuff free and massive deals, I think I will let this one slide. 

    A note on the product page would be nice and you have all been given a heads up not to make the same mistake I made. laugh

    There are only two versions of UltraScatter. The original is UltraScatter Advanced Instancing for Daz Studio. the later version with more features is UltraScatterPro. In addition, there is an upgrade product that lets you upgrade from the earlier version to the pro version for less money than buying pro by itself if you already own the original.
