Corsair for M5 and Genesis is great, but not historically accurate. Royal Guardsman is more authentic, but for the wrong time period. If you're willing to do some kitbashing, Shenandoah might be worth a look as well.
Offsite, VanishingPoint's 1812 British Officer's Uniform and adh3d's American Revolution Soldiers, both for M4, might be closer to what you want.
But note that this one is set up for Poser, as it uses Poser's James figure. He does give instructions as to how to substitute another figure, but it only uses the head as far as I can see.
