Warning when installing Daz3D updates
I have been getting this for the past year of updates and it's starting to bother me. When installing, through the DIM, both the normal and beta versions of Daz, present the following pop-up warning, error... (A warning, error that has absolutely NO INFORMATION on what it is that it is attempting to install, but failing to install.)
Windows Installer(X) Another version of this product is alreadyinstalled. Installation of this version cannotcontinue. To configure or remove the existingversion of this product, use Add/Remove Programson the Control Panel.
Sure... Tell me what "This" is, and I will uninstall it! (Because the only "This", is Daz3D, being installed. Which I know is also trying to install other supporting items, but it is not saying which one "This" is.)
This happens just before the C++ or whatever install portion, which seems to install fine. Then it goes into a "repair install", for one of those things, when the beta install happens, just after the normal install. (I assume it just sees that it was already installed, the C++, and checks to make sure in the "repair" process.)
I can't, for the life of me, think what I may have installed, which Daz seems to ALSO use, which could be causing this error, warning to show. I also doubt, that whatever was installed over a year ago, is STILL a more updated version than whatever Daz is attempting to install. (That's a lie, I do believe that some supporting file is newer, installed over a year ago, which Daz is just now trying to install.) However, since it doesn't even say what it is, I have no clue what to look for.

I got this too. I was installing Daz Studio on my new PC for the first time. I thought great, but then it went on with the installation. When it was done, I opened it and all seemed fine. So I forgot about it. At the time, I thought it was referring to the C++ stuff, but in the past, each porgram always seemed to install their own copy of that. I don't remember it doing a repair though.
