SR Hair for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Female

This concerns SR Hair for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Female available at Renderosity.  

Loading is fine, applying hair colour and movement but as soon as I hit render, DS 4.15 closes in the blink of an eye.  I upgraded system back in March 2021 GeForce RTX 3080, 32 G Dram lots of memory so that's not issue.  Vendor hasn't reported any problems.  Renderosity Staff response recommends I pose question in Daz Forum.  

Just wondering if anyone purchased this product (No reviews yet)  and had similar issues.  Also, I see no apparent problems in the log, though It's possible I may not recognize the problem in the log.

Check the texture files - are any of them in .tiff format?

There are 2 files "SRHairBase Normal and SRHair Normal" in tiff formal.  All other files are jpg.   Is there a conflict?

Recent versions of Iray have problems with some tif files.
Try replacing those maps in the surface tab with a png version for example.

So I replaced the maps in the surface tab and for most part got it to render, untiil I tried the colour mats from options.  There is a possible fix so I've asked the vendor to see if they can do an update or script.
