Serching for content on external hard drive

Eons ago I had daz 3. something and stored loads of content on an external drive. Since then I have got a new faster bigger Pc and recently got Daz 4.7 (64bit), and it is so different from what remember. My biggest puzzle is how on earth do I get it to find all my content on my external hard drive? I've searched but couldn't find any info on here. So could someone please give me so advice on how to do it please?
An idiots guide would be handy as I've got neurological problems and can not concentrate on highly technical stuff any more.

    You need to tell DAZ Studio where the content is located, so that it can find and display it.

    If you go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, then enter the path to the content under BOTH DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats, then DS4.7 should be able to display it in the Content Library pane.

    Is your older content in a folder called 'Content'?

    If so, list the path to that folder (including the name Content.
