Objects within a Box

I am working with the Albert Mansion and the guts of the mansion are all contained within a box icon.
I think this is called a null object but I might be wrong.
I tried to load an instance of instaedit but it won't let me break apart the geometry.
How do I isolate the various geometry elements contained within a box like this?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I highly doubt you can as it's probably a design decision and locked/modeled that way. I don't have that product, so can't check for sure.
To me it looks like it's that way to parent the mansion and the nighttime fog to the main set, hence the box icon
The null objects are "Albert Mansion Night time" and "AM Mansion set".
"AM Mansion" is just one big object. There's no way to break it apart unless you duplicate it and use the geometry editor to delete everything you don't need. Depending on how the object is constucted, it can be either very easy or excruciatingly hard.
You can also export to a modeling program like Blender, break it apart there, and then re-import the pieces and copy the shaders over. As long as the UVs and materials are intact, it should work.
