Render Screen Wont Display Work

Hi, Im new to Daz.. I have been playing around with it for a few days familiarizing myself with the program. I have rendered a number of models. However, last night when I clicked on the render tab nothing appeared on the display screen. It was blank.

I could still render the object but without seeing anything it was impossible to make any final adjustments.

Does anyone know how to fix this ? Appreciate your help.

    Go to Render Settings, and see what Render Target is set to in the Editor > General option.

    It should be set to New Window. If that isn't the problem, you would need to describe it more fully.

    Thanks. I checked it and its set as you described.

    Before the issue when I would click on the render tab I would see my work displayed in the panel. Now when I click on the tab there is nothing at all. Its gray as if I just turned on the program.

    Maybe there's a way to re-set back to the default. I must have checked something inadvertantly. If not, Ill try a re-install.

    There is a button at the top of the Render Settings pane labelled 'Defaults', press that and it should take you back to default settings.

    Thanks. Ill see if I can re-set it when I get home.

    Just as an FYI I had to re-set the layout. I was using Hollywood Blvd and just re-selected it and the render screen re-appeared. Odd.
