    There are some items in you DAZ basic program available from the beginning for example the short hair (toulouse) and the genesis and genesis 2 basic figures. you can buy many additional things like clothes hairstiles animals places... if you take a good look on the shop page there are quiet some free items you can put them in your shopping cart and the total should be 0. you then have to continue through the shopping process and then download the items through your DAZ install manager.
    those free items do change ever so often so its worth stopping by.
    Other than that there ist a large llst of links to free items in the general freepository forum.

    Before you take a lot of money in your hand go play around with your new daz. It akes time to get to use all the possibilities that it includes. When you do your shopping take a close look if the item of your interest needs something else you would need to buy to make it work.

    I hope I could help you a little for your start

    Yes, as Linwelly says Daz Studio is free, and DAZ 3D do offer freebies in the store on a regular basis, but for most content from the DAZ 3D store, other than the content included with the Base DS Program, you do have to spend some money.

    Thank you guys, i've already done the tutorial of barefoot dancer, i've learned how create a character and make the pics with rendering;
    but i seen that there are really few items and customizable shapes, i seen some tutorials to customize shapes (for exemple of the human body) but still really incomplete, now i've understood why DAZ is free.
    However if u know where i can download other free items post link here please, in this way i can try other things, and maybe i could buy some items.

    Sry my imperfect english, im italian.

    With DAZ Studio, you get 'Genesis Starter Essentials' and 'Genesis 2 Starter Essentials' as well as 'Default Lights and Shaders', did you download and install all of these?

    Any other figures, apart from Genesis, Genesis 2 Female and Genesis 2 Male, you would need to buy.

    You could also look on ShareCG for free items for DAZ Studio and Poser.

    You really should look at the General Freepozitory section of the forums (which Linwelly mentioned) at http://www.daz3d.com/forums/categories/41/ especially the "List of Freebie Websites" and "Compilation of Links to Freebies" near the top of that Forum section, because there are many free items available.
    If you want to change a human figure (face or body shape) then I especially recommend the free morphs provided by SickleYield (a PA here at the DAZ store) - here http://www.sharecg.com/pf/full_uploads.php?pf_user_name=sickleyield1
    There are useful sets of morphs for Genesis 2 Female, Genesis 2 Male and Genesis 1.
