Skin Surfaces Not Matching

Is there a way to reset the whole skin surface of a character? I'm really baffled about my skin surfaces not matching even though the correct textures are set and the parameters are consistent throughout all skin surfaces. The legs are rendering lighter than the hips and in the viewport the difference is obvious. I went into Photoshop to make sure there was a smooth transition of the diffuse color from the torso and limbs and they match perfectly. So why are the legs and hips looking different in Daz?
I tried both AoA and Omnifreaker Human surface shaders and get the same results. I meticulously went through all the surface settings of the hips and legs and everything seems to match. I'm really at a loss of what to do next. Would resetting the figure by getting rid of all surface material and settings to default help? Any suggestions are welcome.
BTW, I'm using a skin I modified in Photoshop. It's not a default Daz Skin surface.

Any chance you can show an image of what you mean. Keep in mind the Forum terms on nudity to with the image. What type of shader are using is a SS shader or default?
I settled on the human surface by Omnifreaker. Playing with the deffuse strength helps a little but not perfect. This issue seems to be with the transition between surface regions because I'm seeing slight differences from all regions. The model I'm working on now have darker African skin so trickier. How does Daz deal with transitions between the body part regions? Is there something to keep in mind about Daz's native skins and one's made from scratch or 3rd party venders?
This skin may be a little too graphic to show here. I will find a way to show what I mean.
The two things to remember are:
1) make sure you check ALL the surface settings
2) The head map is much higher res than the other maps
