DAZ Central doesn't see installed assets

I didn't start [Daz Central] it for months, now it wants to re-download everything. I obviously don't want that, how to fix it?

That sounds as if the manifest files that tell it what it has installed have gone astray (Daz Central has been given another location to use, or the actual files or folder have been removed).
