Moving Everything to the D Drive -
Before any thing else, I just want to get these points out of the way -
1. I know that a million people have asked this question but I know that there are multiple ways of doing this. Thus I ask based on my situation.
2. I did do this before, but recently, I had an issue that had me un-install everything and I mucked it up cause I didn't redo it to the D Drive, so I know it's possible.
With those two points out of the way, onto the question ---- I need to move everything to the D Drive cause my C drive is almost packed. I did do this once before, but I have lonjg since forgotten and I have long since forgotten what tutorial I used for it. While searching on google, I found this thread -

L'Adair had some super specific instructions that make a lot of sense, and I would like to use those (although I feel like the way I did it before was a lot simpler, can't remember what it is though). However, I want to make sure that 1) they're still valid and 2) that I can do it while using DazCentral. Cause as it stands, I don't use DIM for anything besides installing some 3rd party content that can't be installed any other way.

Daz Central doesn't keep the downloaded zipsd, as far as I know, so reinstaling the content to fix the paths would require a full redownload.
Richard Haseltine - Ouch, a full redownload is what mucked me up last time. I'll try and stick with these instructions.
And I've hit a snag. On step 9, he's suggesting uninstalling everything that's been downloaded and then re-installing everything later. I've got a lot of stuff in there (I think almost 1500 products) and I don't know what I'd do if I had to do all this manually. Gonna see if there's a way that I can just change where the system is looking for files and then click and drag.
I've just realized that I'm an idiot cause (I must have been so sleep that I didn't se eit when I scrolled thorugh my other post) I've already made a post like this.
I sort of kind of followed the instructions from the last post I made and so far, everything seems to be within working order. However, my last question for the night is if there's a way to reset the default directory paths? Like I went in and changed all the directories so they would look for the files in the D drive, but if something were to happen, is there a button to set them bac to default? I have an inkling feeling that I would just have to uninstall everything and then re-install it all, but I'm not sure.
The only reason for uninstaling/reinstalling is for Daz Central/Install maanger, and even then it matters only for the odd occasion when an update actually removes a file. As far as DS itself goes it deals only with relative paths, the location of files within the content directory, so as long as it knows where the content directory is it's happy. Install Manager has a right-click option to reset paths, I don't think Daz Studio does (at least in the current General Release).
