Why aren't these weapon props showing when I load Michael 6?

When I load Michael 6 into a scene, then look for weapons in my Smart Content tab (I'm using the Hollywood Blvd Workspace Layout), I see a few, but there are many I don't see.

If I go through my Content Library, I can find them, or if I have no Michael 6 loaded, the Smart Content tab will show them. But why aren't they showing when Michael 6 is loaded?

I can understand maybe that Smart Content doesn't want to show weapons from an M4 or Genesis product (is that how it should work...though that's not smart, any figure can hold a sword), but it won't even show things from some Genesis 2 products, like:

It depends upon how the metadata was written for the items.
"Everything" should show if "nothing' is selected in the scene.
As soon as an item is selected, then the Smart Content will only show those items that have been keyed to appear for it.
I prefer going through the Content Library, screens of searched for items don't vanish then just because another item is selected in the scene.

Well, everything that's a stand-alone object. Poses and materials won't show.

That being because they didn't have their metadata set up to show as they aren't a product being looked for to load all by itself ... or something like that.

Okay so the revised answer would be that "everything that is meant to show will show providing that whoever coded the metadata did the job correctly and for the actual edition of D/S that one is running and etc and etc.

    'night.

No, that's because you need to apply a pose or material to something. It's like the old "An object in the scene must be selected" error message if you try to apply a mat without loading the hair or clothing or figure it belongs to.

Although .duf presets can be set up to load the required figure if it isn't already loaded.

Didn't say they'd work lol ... but yes I have had poses/mats show up when nothing was selected, maybe it's no longer so. When making metadata sometime back, it would have the icons appearing anywhere we put a check mark for them to appear.
