    Warning, Cranky Old Fart!! 6 x 9 = 54 . 6 x 7 = 42 . What do they teach you kids now days?

    That may be so, but the answer to life, the universe and everything is "42".
    The question was found to be "6 by 9".

    More accurately, in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, when Arthur Dent is in the past, one of the cavemen he's been teaching to play Scrabble places on the board, "what is 6 times 9" -- obviously, the Earth, which was created as a giant supercomputer to determine the question which has the answer 42, was still at the beginning of its analysis.
