Where Did Messages Go?

I sent a message to a PA and he answered me back.  I got an email showing the message and I wanted to reply back to him.  When I click on the link, it takes me to a new tab in my browser, wants me to log back in again, and when I click on Messages, there's nothing there. When I go the Forums and click on Messages, it takes me to the same Messages page in my Account and there's nothing there.  Where are all my personal messages and how do I access them?

"Messages" in the store "my account" dropdown takes you to store messages (orange banners).

For private messages you need to select "inbox" in the cogwheel menu in the forums.

Select the cog wheel in the upper right corner of the screen and then select inbox
