Best Practices For Collaborative Work With Offshore Team

Hi there. I am planning on hiring an offshore freelancer to join our team and help us with 2D character design using DAZ Studio and some assets from Renderosity. The work consists of using Genesis 8 Female / Genesis 8 Male figures, poses, skins, weapons etc to produce 'Game Of Thrones' universe characters (transparent background, no scenes - only the character doing a pose). The idea is to have the offshore freelancer take care of 80% of the character design, while we produce the various poses and angles we require for exportng the characters to PNG? We understand that both us and the freelancer need to acquire the same assets - but what are the best practices when it comes to exchanging files (.duf ?) beetween our team and the freelancer to make sure we achieve optimal workflow? Thanks, Stef

Since you already know that each member has to purchase the same assets, I would assume that as long as all members have the same content installed, in the same locations, you should be able to just share the scene files (.DUF) and each member should see the same thing once loaded as long as changes haven't been made.
