universal tool only selecting the figure...

I render on three different machines that share a common library.

On one of my machines, the selection tools only select the entire figure upon first click. Then I have to select the body part I wanted to select originally. It's weird. I don't see anything about that in the preferences menu. All machines are running the same version of DS, 4.15.0.2

It's in the Tool Settings pane. Don't remember the exact name offhand.

Ah, there it is! Thanks!

It's at the bottom of the tool settings: Node Selection Mode. On that one machine, it was set to Root Node First. The other two were set to Node.
