Dagger Dancer Tut question

I get almost all the way through the tut, but then it tells me to "click an empty area of the scene pane"...
I click where the arrow shows, but nothing happens and the tut stops right there.
I click everywhere on the screen and nothing happens.
I'm stumped. I'd really like to finish the tut if possible, or should I just ignore it and move on to the next tut?

You need to click on the Scene pane below everything that is in the scene, not on any of the selected items. If you right click anywhere in the Scene pane, you can choose the option Select > Clear Selection and that should do the same job.

Thanks Jimmy! The issue was that the entire scene pane was expanded from the tut itself...after I collapsed a few of the tiers, I clicked and it worked.
