help with saving menu custom actions in the menu bar and bookmarks

Trying ot find where to save these settings as well as window pane layout settings, when the computer shuts down they always disappear when i start daz up again, thanks

    When you get it setup, Window>Workspace>Save Layout As

    shortcut:F4

    Thanks I have tried save layout but that hasn't worked

    save as was the same thing, it did save one custom action script , does anyone know of any other method? thanks

    You might have a bigger problem.

     

    Check the Custom actions list in Window>Workspace>Customize. Shortcut:F3

    If there are missing elements, after you've added items to the 'scripts' menu, you've probably got a broken DS install, as that's saved in a DSX file(CustomActions.DSX, c:\user\(name)\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio 4)

    If the items are there, then you might try resaving, making sure the options are set to "Custom" for all 3 drop downs in the "Save layout as" dialogue.

     

    To verify if the layout was saved properly, c:\user\(name)\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio 4\User layouts.
