Hiding Geometry

Hello all,

How do I hide geometry with a one click button in parameters? Like all those dForce buttons on a shirt or belts, appliques on clothing. Do I use the geometry editor first to hide it then make a preset? not sure.

a tutorial? Thanks!

    1. Select the object you want to have the master control button. The hideable objects need to be part of a hierarchy (something needs to be parented to something else).
    2. Right click the Properties pane to enable Edit Mode, then right click again and select Create New Property.
    3. Change the property type to Bool and fill out the property details. You can procedurally create a new path in the outliner by typing something into the Path box.
    4. Right click the new property and select Show in Property Hierarchy.
    5. In the Properties pane, find the Visible property for whatever you want to hide, click the boxed P next to it (only visible in Edit Mode), and drag it over to the master control property in the Property Hierarchy, under 2nd Stage (Multiply/Divide).
    6. Your new property won't be saved as part of the asset, so you'll need to save it out as a scene subset.
