Pinning something in place?

I was wondering if there was any way to pin something in place while adjusting something else? I know about the pins in the activepose tool but they never seem to work for me.
With the image attached, I'm trying to keep her hands pinned to her knees but lean her forward a little by adjusting her abdomen...is this possible?

There are two kinds of pinning systems in Daz Studio. Translate/rotate pins (purple), which are effective with the translate/rotate/universal tools. However, they are "soft pins", which means if the bone chain moves too much they lose their original position. ActivePose has its own pins (red), and if you open Tool Settings and change the pin position to "Pin at Both Ends" it's much more rigid than translation pins, but the ActivePose tool is only for dragging limbs in worldspace. It is awful at making them bend appropriately, and it still doesn't fix things in place completely.
Moderator Richard Haseltine said in a forum post two years ago that absolute pinning, where you fix a limb in place and it stays there, is "on the drawing board", but that's about it for even semi-official communication from Daz3D about this glaring flaw that prevents their figure posing program from posing figures.
Some people recommend using an external script, mcjAutolimb2015, to "fix" it. Or you can export to Blender and pose with Rigify, then save out a pose preset and load it back into Daz Studio.
