Logos: Can You Make Them Go Away?
I have a number of products with decals and logos. Right now I'm working with Yakima Truck and Sports Car.
They come with up with the word YAKIMA on them along with various logos and decal art.
Is there any way to turn them off? I searched through all the properties and can't find anything. It would be great to do the same with other products that do the same.
Thanks for any help.

The logos seem to be on the textures rather than a separate overlay, so you would need to make a copy of the texture .jpg and remove the logos -- it should be pretty easy to do, as the logos look to be on a solid-color background, and are only on the diffuse texture.
He means remove them with a photo editor like Photoshop or The Gimp. You could use the clone tool, for example, and save out the texture with a new name. Then back in DAZ Studio, you would go to the Surfaces tab, click on the Diffuse texture map and select Browse and find and select the modified file you saved.
I understood but thanks.
I think the real question is why can't we have an easy way to remove logos? Or make them a separate option when manipulating an object?
I create images primarily for commercial and fine art purposes yet it seems 80% of Daz products are geared towards 13 year olds so they can create pictures of naked girls in their basement.
You build an alien space base with UFO's flying around and then you have to clone out the USA/USSR flags.
A UFO with a USA flag? *Slaps forehead*
Well... I'm not sure about the 13-year-olds in the basement comment, but I agree with the rest. Logos particularly annoy me because I am doing a comic-book (webcomic) and using this stuff for the story, and the logo will almost never fit the story.
I've had to get really good at blanking out that stuff in PS. But I really shouldn't have to. The logos should be able to be hidden.
Some really good/clever creators do that, but a lot of them don't.
