This is why I don't use Daz Central

Daz Central killed my PostGRE CMS connection which I got working after many, many long hours effort to get it to work.

This thread will be closed by the moderator because Daz doesn't like negative comments about their products in these forums but I'm gonna type it anyway.

After finally installing a functioning (functioning quite well, actually) version of Studio on my Big Sur iMac and many days of significant effort and finally getting CMS to work and being able to use Studio on-line with all of my smart content available to me in my library (which is housed on an external SSD), I was having trouble downloading and installing recently purchased content through DIM which is usually rock solid reliable. It installed some of the content but I was getting "Download failed!" messages on some of the other items. My assumption is that there is some Daz store server glitch which is preventing the download and installation of this content.

So I thought I'd give Central a try again. I installed it. It immediately froze after about a minute like it has every time I've tried to use it since I first installed it after Big Sur compatibility was made available.

And now I've lost CMS again. I've tried all the same flips and twists I used originally to get CMS working and they've all failed. I no longer have access to my smart content.

Thanks Daz Central.

Daz Central sucks. Big time.

ATM no forms of downloading are working. We have notified them and we've been told that it has been forwarded to the web team.

Not true. It is true, as noted in the ToS, that we remove posts discuss9ng mod actions - but we are going to leave this one just to be difficult.

Quite a few users have had issues with Daz Central on Big Sur, but as Frank says there seems to be a general issue with the .zip server at the moment affecting Daz central, Install maanger (which does seem good with Big Sur), and manual downloads.
